The Scripture Readings Galatians 5:22-6:2 Luke 10:19-21 Hebrews 9:1-7 Theotokos Luke 10:38-42; 11:27-28 Theotokos HIDE TROPARION Hieromartyr Clement, Pope of Rome & Peter, Patriarch of Alexandria, Troparion, Tone IV — O God of our fathers,/ deal with us ever according to Thy meekness./ Deprive us not of Thy mercy,/ but through their supplications// direct our life in peace. Troparion of the Feast, Tone IV — Today is the prelude of God's good will/ and the proclamation of the salvation of men./ The Virgin hath manifestly appeared in the temple of God/ and proclaimeth Christ unto all./ To her let us cry aloud:/ Rejoice, O thou fulfillment// of the Creator's dispensation! Kontakion of the hieromartyrs, Tone IV "Thou hast appeared today" (after Ode III) — O ye divine and immovable towers of the Church,/ godly pillars of piety truly strong,// most lauded Clement and Peter; by your supplications preserve us all. After Ode VI, the Kontakion of the Feast, Tone IV — The most pure temple of the Savior,/ the precious bridal chamber and Virgin,/ the sacred treasury of the glory of God,/ is on this day brought into the house of the Lord,/ bringing with her the grace that is in the divine Spirit./ To her do the angels of God chant the hymn:// She is the heavenly tabernacle! St Clement, Bishop of Ochrid, Troparion, Tone IV — With thy discourses thou didst guide the nations to the Faith of Christ, and by thy works thou didst lift thyself up to divine life, O holy hierarch Clement, equal of the apostles, shin­ing forth miracles upon those who approach thee with faith, and ail-gloriously illumining the Church with signs. Wherefore, we glorify thine honored memory. Kontakion of the holy hierarchy in Tone III, "Today the Virgin..." (after Ode III) — Thy temple, O holy one, is ail-gloriously shown to be spiritual healing for those who approach it with faith; for it delivereth all from divers sicknesses, and lulleth all the passions of men's souls to sleep. Wherefore, O most blessed one, we call thee our fervent intercessor.
